Ok only concern is the lovely purple colour which children find very attractive....obviously it is out of their reach but a less pretty colour would be safer

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Antirobe for Dogs & Cats Capsules, including answers from our team.
75mg on 8kg dog
Hi there I've taken my dog to a skin specialist as she has bacterial infection , the prescribed dose of Antirobe 75mg can you tell me if this is ok for 8kg Bichon Frise dog or am I reading the dosage schedule wrong . I lost dog due to vet overdosing her . So I'm very wary about medications for my 2 dogs . Thank you very much for your help . Donna
If you are giving 75mg once per day, then this would be a slightly low dose for your dog for a skin problem. If you are giving it twice per day then it should be a fully adequate dose. Your concern about overdose should be helped by the fact that if a dog has an infection in a bone, this same drug is used at double the normal dose for weeks and is safe that way. The dose you are giving is well below that level. Your dog should be fine.
