Easy to put on and take off, the material is wipe clean, water resistant and quick drying.
The main collar is inflatable so it’s easy to deflate and store or to adjust for your dogs neck for comfort.

Unfortunately it didn't do the job purchased for where I was hoping it would stop my cat from being able to chew her back paws. Excellent quality though and is going to be useful at some point good value too so definitely worth the money.

Hi our doberman girl has a neck size of 16inches - which collar size will be best for her please ? x
This equates to 40.64cm. It is therefore advised to use the Large size collar, this will leave a small amount of room but not be too tight.

My German Shepherd's neck is about 24 inches around....that's not pulled too tight. Which size of buster inflatable collar should I get him? XL or XXL? To stop him biting and licking in his arm/leg pits. I was thinking XXL going by sizing I've looked at...but surely he can't be as large as a mastiff or great dane?
A neck circumference of 24 inches will equal a neck diameter of around 19.4cm. It is therefore advised to use the XXL collar as this will leave a 2cm gap as comfort and breathing room.

Our Cockapoo has an exact neck measurement so no gap of 12 inches or 30.5 cm can you please advise the size for your collar so that she will be comfortable enough to sleep in it after surgery.
Best Wishes
Julia
If your dog has a neck circumference of 30.5cm then they will have a neck diameter fr roughly 9.7cm. Therefore the most appropriate collar would be the medium one, as this is 11cm in neck diameter and so will provide a small amount of comfort/breathing room.

Dog neck measures 18 inch what size would you recommend in a inflatable buster?
A neck circumference of 18 inches (45cm) means the internal diameter of your dog's neck is roughly 14.55cm. Based on the sizing guide, the larger collar would be most suitable for your pet. This has an internal diameter of 16cm which will leave just over 1cm of room to prevent the collar being too tight.

My dog’s neck circumference is 13”. He is having cruciate ligament surgery next week. Would this be safe to wear at night and would it be effective in stopping him biting/licking/ chewing his stitches?
This collar is most suitable for protecting the body and upper legs. It is not suitable for protecting the the lower legs and paws, or eyes. The surgical site for the cruciate repair may be too low on the leg for the collar to prevent licking. It is advised you discuss with your vet whether this would be suitable.
Your pet can wear this comfortably at night and at all times as necessary.

I have a Bichon Frise with a neck size measuring 25/26cm what size should I get. Also would this stop her being able to reach her back legs/lower back. She has an allergy and has itchy skin and constantly chewing her skin until
It bleeds. She is currently using a plastic cone but is causing chafing/rubbing neck area and this will be a long term item being used so want it for comfort too. Many thanks
A neck circumference of 25/26cm means the diameter is roughly 8cm. This means the Medium size collar would be most appropriate, as this would give 1cm or 2cm extra room so the collar is not too tight.
This collar may not be appropriate for your itching dog as it may not prevent licking of the lower hind leg and paws. If your dog has allergies and is itchy it is far better to resolve the underlying condition. I recommend reading our blog on the topic, link provided here.

My dog is about to have surgery for an entropion and I’m wondering if this will prevent her from being able to scratch at her stitches? Thank you
This collar is not suitable post eye-surgery as your dog can still rub the eye on walls/surfaces. It is recommended to follow your vets post-op guidance, most commonly this includes a cone shaped collar.

Would this medical collar be suitable for a dog being neutered. Would he be able to get to the affected part of his body. Is it strong and suitable for a young Labrador. Thank you
Yes, collars like this would be suitable for protecting castration or spay incision lines. They are not useful for protecting the arms/legs or the tail, however the incision for neutering will be located on the body.
