Colvasone is an injectable solution of Dexamethasone 0.2% which can be given by intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. It can be used as part of the treatment regime for shock and certain infections or burns, as well as treating various inflammatory conditions and ketosis in cattle and sheep. The recommended dose for use in horses and cattle is 1ml per 25kg bodyweight. For dogs and cats the dose is 1ml per 10kg bodyweight.

Can colovasone injections cause liver cancer in shih tzu dogs
Most of the cases of liver cancer are of unknown cause, so this is an area which is not fully understood. However the chances of Colvasone being involved as a cause seem exceedingly remote and personally I would not worry about this as a possible problem.
