FRONTLINE HOMEGARD® has a fast-acting formula to help you quickly get on top of home flea infestations. It kills fleas, flea eggs and flea larvae in your home. And once you’ve started the fight, it keeps on working for up to six months to help prevent future infestations.
For best results, use in conjunction with a FRONTLINE® flea and tick treatment for your pet.
Did you know that fleas on your pet are only 5% of the problem? The other 95% are in your home in the form of flea eggs, larvae and pupae. This is because fleas breed on your pet and their eggs then fall off wherever your pet goes – for example your sofa, bed or flooring. These flea eggs hatch and cause an infestation.
To speed up eradicating a flea infestation, use frontline HOMEGARD® throughout your home, including under furniture. Don’t forget the car if your pet goes in there too. Use sparingly on wooden or glossy surfaces to avoid spotting.
After treatment, leave the area for 60 minutes and air the room.
For full instructions and warnings, please read the product label before use.
Do not use on cats or other animals.

Great product! Great size, Great Value, Very Effective. We managed to get fleas without having an animal - darn family with cute pets!
Important not to vacuum after use (seems obvious but tell my partner that) and same with bombs. As this rids the poison.
One can isn't enough, if you're wanting to get rid of fleas. For context I live in a 2 bedroom flat, 3 rooms in total. It's not big. We used a flea bomb in each room to start. And then (due to the life cycle of fleas) you really need to be using a spray every 2-3 days. And (depending on how bad the infestation is) may need to do this for a couple weeks. I only did it for one week and havnt seen any since. I've used around 2 1/2 cans
Oh, that does actually include my car (Coupé).
So, Fleas don't live on humans so our 'investation' was easier to rid as they don't live on humans & without pets they'll die off eventually. However their hatch cycles create a longer process.
Id say the product did make the whole process much faster as it must kill the larvae aswell. It's just fleas are wiley buggers and really good at hiding!
So, to recap, bomb the rooms and buy a few of these cans. Don't vacuum for 24-48hrs. Spray every 2-3 days for however long is necessary/ whilst you still find living ones. I'm paranoid so I've sprayed extra once a week for last couple but i probably haven't needed to!

Rather dissapointed to find the concentration of active ingredient in this product has massively reduced since my last purchase..... I very much doubt this spray will be anywhere near as effective, and will not be as long lasting.
The delivery arrived on the day stated, but the delivery person left it on my front doorstep in plain view, rather than in the "safe place" location I had requested when ordering.

Despite being what is perceived as the best product for the problem it didn't work in the slightest. Had to resort to the local vet for a solution

Do you need to hoover after the treatment has dried? I have small children that spend a lot of time on the floor and I’m worried about skin contact after application.
Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch.
Before using the spray you need to vacuum and then spray inside the vacuum cleaner to kill any living fleas. You will not need to vacuum again after as you need the product to stay down and kill any remaining fleas.
As long as you follow the guidelines and make sure you ventilate the area, your children will have no reaction to the product.
Hope that helps,
VioVet.

Os thus safe to use with an indoor cat?
Thank you for your question.
As long as the cat does not go in the room that has been sprayed for at least a hour, it is safe to use.

Hello,
I have a 6 week old kitten. Is it safe for me to use this product around the house?
Kind regards
Tania
Hi Tania,
Thank you for your question.
As long as you keep the kitten out of the room for at least a hour, it will be fine.

I have a 13year old Maltese Poodle who has always "cleaned" / licked his paws after going outside. Would the Flea spray get onto his paws when coming into he house and could this affect him?
Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you for your question.
You need to ensure treated areas are well ventilated afterwards, and do not re-enter them for a minimum of 30 mins post-treatment or until treated surfaces/fabrics are dry. After this time, it will be fine for your Poodle to enter.
I hope this helps.

Is the homegard household spray effective on ticks/mites too? Thank you.
Hello.
Thank you for your question.
This is not effective against ticks; you will need the Frontline Spot On or a tick remover for ticks. The product is effective against dust mites and fleas and also their eggs.
Thanks.

I am slowly getting rid of the beetles by daily hoovering and spraying a powder every so often, but I need something to spray between the floor boards and wondered if this would be successful.
Hi Pamela,
This can be sprayed in all areas, including carpets, cracks and crevices in flooring and even animal bedding.
