Helps maintain a healthy gut and promotes normal stools for your pet. VBS Clay is a geological nanomaterial that adsorbs bacterial enterotoxins and increases the reabsorption of intra-luminal water in the gastrointestinal tract, resulting in normalization of the stools.

very good product but very expensive for a very small amount of product

Great for regulating bowels. I give it to the dog every day (twice) and if she gets a bout of diarrhoea I just increase it to 4 times a day and within no time she recovers. Far better than some of the big name alternatives because it only consists of clay - no added ingredients that she might be sensitive to.

Our young labradoodle suffers from IBS, and his stools range from firm to soft formed. During a bad patch, I add VBS clay powder to his food and it usually firms him up within a couple of days. I mix it with a small amount of water, with his food placed over the top. He seems to like the taste and his bowl is licked clean! I don't use the maintenance dose because it doesn't do much for him (although every dog is different, and for others it might be effective). Instead I use the clay when needed, giving the maximum dose three times a day, which works extremely well. I particularly like the fact that VBS Clay Powder is free from toxins. Also it works in a different way from some other clays, so doesn't 'bind' the dog up or potentially lead to dehydration.

Hi, is this product the same as Kaolin clay?
My vet had recommended buying kaolin clay for my cat who has always had runny stools and wondered whether this was the same product?
The active ingredient of this product is Bentonite Clay, not Kaolin Clay. The function is to help promote normal stools.
